Privacy Policy
Dagligpris helps people compare grocery prices in Denmark. We collect only the data needed to run accounts, price comparison, saved lists, price alerts, rewards, receipt review, and support.
Data We Collect
- Account details such as name, email address, locale, postcode, password hash, and app authentication tokens.
- Shopping activity you choose to save, including favorites, shopping lists, price alerts, reward activity, searches, and product interactions.
- User-submitted price information, price-tag photos, receipt photos, OCR results, review status, and moderation notes.
- Coarse location details such as postcode and selected store location when you use local price filters.
- Operational metadata such as pseudonymous analytics identifiers, app requests, outbound click metadata, and security logs.
How We Use Data
- To provide grocery comparison, account login, saved lists, alerts, receipt import, and reward features.
- To moderate submitted prices, improve catalog quality, detect abuse, and keep the service reliable.
- To answer support requests and meet legal, security, and accounting obligations.
Photos And Receipts
Price-tag and receipt images are used for OCR and review. Auto-published price submissions delete the raw image after processing. Pending review images and receipt import images are retained only for the configured review period, then deleted by scheduled cleanup.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting, email, maps, OCR, analytics operations, and app infrastructure. Scraped retailer price data and aggregated product information may be displayed in the service without exposing personal account details.
Your Choices
- You can update account preferences in the app.
- You can delete your account in the app. Account deletion anonymizes profile identifiers, revokes connected receipt services, severs privacy-subject mappings, and invalidates API tokens.
- You can request help at support@dagligpris.dk.
Retention
Account and app data is retained while your account is active or as needed for operations, security, and legal obligations. Receipt and price-tag images use shorter review retention windows. Aggregated, anonymized, or non-identifying catalog data may be retained to maintain price history and service quality.
